Dave Hafford is a Principal at Prosperity7 Ventures, a $5B global venture fund that invests in enterprise software, AI infrastructure, and deep technology. The firm backs companies from Series A through pre-IPO stages, with check sizes ranging from $5M to $200M. Since joining Prosperity7, he has led investments in several companies, including Kognitos, an AI-enabled RPA platform, among others.

Before joining Prosperity7, he was an investor at Thomvest Ventures, a $750M fund focused on enterprise and fintech investments.

Prior to earning his MBA from The Wharton School, Dave worked at Platform Ventures, where he invested across enterprise, consumer, and deep tech sectors. His sourcing efforts have led to successful exits such as MoneyLion, which achieved a $1B valuation at exit, as well as several companies that continue to grow following Series A through C investments.

On the operational side, he previously served as interim CFO at Shadowbox, an NYC-based portfolio company of Platform Ventures. During his tenure, he led the company’s financial turnaround, overseeing growth from roughly $4M to $10M in revenue, cleaning up financials, renegotiating key contracts, and managing the CEO transition process, ultimately helping the business reach profitability.
